CETLİS Consulting Continues Commercialization Meetings for Manisa Celal Bayar University’s Patent Portfolio

As CETLİS Consulting, within the scope of our commercialization consultancy activities aimed at bringing university-developed patented technologies together with industry and transforming them into economic value, company meetings were held for selected technologies within the patent portfolio of Manisa Celal Bayar University.

Throughout the process coordinated by Manisa Celal Bayar University, the sectoral relevance, industry transfer potential, and possible collaboration models of patented technologies developed within the university were evaluated together with relevant companies.

Within this scope;

For the patent titled “A Drive Mechanism,” with application number 2021/009716, commercialization-oriented meetings were held with VEXNOR.

For the patent titled “A Composite Welding Backing,” with application number 2020/08038, commercialization-oriented meetings were held with POINT.

For the patents titled “An Artificial Disc Prosthesis Capable of Simulating Motion in All Axes” and “A Trauma Test Unit,” commercialization-oriented meetings were held with TEMİZ AR-GE.

During these meetings, the application areas of the patented technologies, their alignment with target sectors, their capacity to respond to industry needs, and commercialization roadmaps were discussed. In this way, the aim was to ensure that university research outputs do not remain merely as intellectual property assets within a portfolio, but instead meet the right industry stakeholders and turn into economic and technological value.

As CETLİS Consulting, we consider the identification of the right company matches, the strengthening of technology transfer mechanisms, and the transformation of university-industry collaboration into concrete outputs as among our priority areas in university patent commercialization processes.
