Patent Commercialization and Intellectual Property Meetings Held at Gebze Technical University

We held productive meetings at Gebze Technical University focusing on patent commercialization and intellectual property management processes.

As part of the meetings, the industrial collaboration opportunities and commercialization potential of the patent titled “Lithium Phosphate Production Method from Lithium Enolate (Chelate) Structure”, invented by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Salim Öncel and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emin Ender Çelebi, were evaluated. Discussions covered potential application areas, market positioning, and licensing opportunities for the technology.

In addition, meetings were conducted with Furkan Canekici, an inventor from Gebze Technical University, regarding trademark application processes, intellectual property strategies, and commercialization pathways for entrepreneurial initiatives.

These discussions provided valuable insights into transforming university-developed technologies into economic value and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
